This program blends cultural exchange, professional learning, and exploration in a truly remarkable setting.
This experience is part of our Teacher Training Program, designed for educators who want to be fully immersed in a local school setting, with a strong focus on sharing professional practice. It can be both challenging and deeply rewarding — ideal for those looking for a more hands-on and impactful experience.

It’s a powerful day of connection and learning, where we’re able to support and uplift local educators while growing in confidence and collaboration as a group.
Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from your hotel or the airport in Labuan Bajo before boarding the Alcira, a beautifully crafted traditional phinisi boat. After meeting your guide and crew, you’ll sail to Padar Island for a short hike with breathtaking panoramic views of its famous three-colored bays.
Next, head to Pink Beach for snorkeling or relaxing on the shore, surrounded by vibrant coral reefs. In the afternoon, visit Komodo Island, where a guided ranger trek gives you the chance to spot Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. The day ends at Kalong Island, where thousands of fruit bats soar across the sky at sunset. You’ll spend the night aboard the Balaraja in a comfortable, air-conditioned private cabin under the stars.
After breakfast onboard, the morning begins with a visit to Kanawa Island — a peaceful, white-sand island known for its coral reefs and clear turquoise water. It’s an excellent spot for snorkeling, with the chance to see reef sharks, turtles, and colorful fish.
Following a leisurely lunch on the boat, you’ll sail to Kelor Island. A short trek up the hill offers stunning 360-degree views of the surrounding archipelago, and the shallow beach is perfect for a final swim or snorkel. By mid-afternoon, the journey wraps up as you return to Labuan Bajo, with drop-off back to our accommodation.
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight home — or, if you're not quite ready to leave, you're welcome to continue exploring the island at your own pace.
