This Thailand Teacher Training Program combines meaningful school placement with cultural immersion and coastal adventure. Upon arrival in Ranong, either by flight from Bangkok or by bus from Phuket, participants are transferred to their accommodation at the Eco-Logic Resort. If needed, an additional night’s accommodation is provided in either Bangkok or Phuket. Once settled at the resort, the team gathers for a welcome and orientation to prepare for the week ahead.
Engage in five mornings of teacher training at local schools. Throughout the week, participants are supported by their team leader, who travels between schools. Afternoons are filled with opportunities to unwind and connect, including jungle walks, river swims, and included activities such as yoga, Thai massage, and a Thai cooking class.
As a team, we come together to plan and deliver a full day of professional development for local teachers. Drawing on our combined experience and strengths, we run interactive workshops focused on practical strategies, inclusive teaching, and student engagement — tailored to the local context.
It’s a powerful day of connection and learning, where we’re able to support and uplift local educators while growing in confidence and collaboration as a group.
Two nights will be spent in the nearby vibrant city of Ranong, with two full days dedicated to cultural and nature-based excursions. Highlights include natural hot springs, mountain temples, bustling night markets, and the stunning Andaman coastline.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the local airport.
Alternatively, if you choose to join our optional excursion, you’ll travel south by private bus to Phuket, where you’ll check into your 4-star hotel. In the afternoon, visit an ethical elephant sanctuary to learn about elephant care and conservation, and enjoy a hands-on experience in a natural setting.
Set out on a full-day speed boat tour to explore the stunning Andaman Sea. Visit world-famous islands including Maya Bay and Phi Phi, snorkel in crystal-clear waters, and relax on white-sand beaches. Return to your hotel in the evening for a final group dinner.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward international flight or next adventure.
